Once you've removed the wallpaper, check the wall for any patches of old adhesive and sand them down with some fine sandpaper.
Your wall may or may not have strippable wallpaper on it. Most stripplable wallpaper looks like vinyl with a fabric backing. However, the only way to find out if it is strippable is to try and peel it off.
Another interesting use for wallpaper that I have already talked about is paper-mache. Just as with any other type of paper, wallpaper can be used in a paper-mache project. One might even say wallpaper is a natural fit for such an undertaking, as many use wallpaper glue to make the paste that is essential to the paper-mache process. Yet paper-mache is not the only art or craft leftover wallpaper can be used for. Many mothers and daughters have used old or leftover wallpaper scraps to decorate dollhouses. Why cant your dolls have the same kind of beautiful and decorative wallpaper that you have? Speaking of dollhouses, many children have used wallpaper to make paper dolls. Clearly, these arent dolls that can be used in a standard dollhouse, but they will entertain children nonetheless.
Wallpaper Cons There are definitely more than a few cons of using wallpaper these days. Because so many people view wallpaper as being outdated, trying to sell a home covered in wallpaper can be difficult (even though it's easy to remove). In addition, wallpaper is also relatively easy to rip and when it rips it's hard to replace, especially if you bought the wallpaper a while ago. Another con of wallpaper is the fact that humidity can cause the material to come apart from the wall.
